Where does current go in a battery?

The current starts from the positive (+ve) terminal of the battery and exits through the negative (-ve) terminal. It flows into a 100mA load when it is on, passes through the ground node, and then returns back to the battery.

Can a current flow in a battery?

Maybe something like "Current flow in batteries?" Actually a current will flow if you connect a conductor to any voltage, through simple electrostatics.

Can a battery determine the amount of current flowing in a circuit?

Remember a battery is a chemical device, and it is the chemical reaction within the battery that is important to know about regarding whatever circuit the battery is going to power. YES a battery could determine the amount of current flowing in the circuit.

How does current flow from a battery to a ground pin?

The only path the current takes from a battery is from the positive terminal to the negative terminal. Current in the wire from the load to the ground pin is flowing towards the ground, and current in the wire from the ground pin to the negative terminal of the battery is flowing away from the ground. However, no current can flow into or out of the 'ground pin' itself because there is nowhere for it to go.

How do we find out if electric currents in batteries flow backwards?

Editor’s note, 2/13/2020: Per reader requests, we have uploaded model files to go along with this blog post to the Application Gallery entry “ Potential Profile in Batteries and Electrochemical Cells “. We find out if the electric currents in batteries flow backwards by studying the potential profile inside a battery.

What is the current flow through a battery loop?

Le's assume the load resistance is 4.5ohm and battery voltage is 9v, so current flow through the loop is 2amp; for the same load resistance (not be changed in any variation of voltage and current), if the battery voltage is 18v the current flow through the loop becomes 18v/4.5ohm=4amp. if I am wrong please give me feed back.

Does current flow inside a battery?

$begingroup$ Without continuous current, the formed charge disbalance would very quickly form potential countergradients, ceasing any external current. As hydraulic …
