The Power-Structures Awning solution was developed by a designer/ solar installer with 35 years of experience in the architecture, construction and solar industries. We have taken the guess-work out of designing an awning, giving you a beautiful solution delivered to your home or office.
We worked with Power Structures to create a PV awning that replaced a planned architectural shading element on a new home. Not only did the new PV array provide the needed shading to summer fenestration, but provided 4.8kW of power to boot- all at a cost REDUCTION from what was initially planned.
The RA Compact Solar Powered Full Cassette Awning stands out for its eco-friendliness. It includes a solar-powered motor with electronic top and bottom adjustments and an intermediate position. The motor has a strength of 20 Nm, developed specifically for awnings, and requires no additional wiring.

It is only necessary to charge the motor once, the rest of its lifetime it will be charged by the solar panel.
