The process of Capacitor Discharge welding occurs in a series of 4 instant steps: Contact. Ignition. We can use a standard MIDWEST Portable C.D. system to install Weld Pins, here are the component parts of the C.D. System. a Controller [or Power Unit] which is plugged into a one-hundred-ten-volt power outlet to provide weld power and control.
