The energy consumption involved in industrial-scale manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries is a critical area of research. The substantial energy inputs, encompassing both power demand and energy consumption, are pivotal factors in establishing mass production facilities for battery manufacturing.
The manufacturing data of lithium-ion batteries comprises the process parameters for each manufacturing step, the detection data collected at various stages of production, and the performance parameters of the battery [25, 26].
Fig. 1 shows the current mainstream manufacturing process of lithium-ion batteries, including three main parts: electrode manufacturing, cell assembly, and cell finishing .
With the rapid development of new energy vehicles and electrochemical energy storage, the demand for lithium-ion batteries has witnessed a significant surge. The expansion of the battery manufacturing scale necessitates an increased focus on manufacturing quality and efficiency.
