With a large number of energy storage containers on the market, as well as the pursuit of high energy density by developers and consumers, the frequent occurrence of safety accidents in lithium-ion energy storage batteries has become a bottleneck restricting its further development.
Starting from the external strain mechanism of the lithium battery, the strain change of the lithium battery explosion proof valve under normal conditions and overcharge is studied. Based on the comparison of the two conditions, an online warning scheme using sliding window and data standard deviation is proposed.
The explosion of Li-ion cells needed to consume the oxygen provided by the external air. In other words, the existence of an external oxygen supply system was a necessary condition for the explosion of Li-ion cells. This provides a fire or explosion prevention method for the safety design of the battery system.
